Ramses II. möchte in seine Heimat Ägypten zurück reisen. Auf dem Weg dorthin würde er gerne viele mysteriöse Orte besuchen.

Ramses II. (* um 1303 v. Chr.; † 27. Juni 1213 v. Chr.), auch der Große genannt, war der dritte altägyptische König (Pharao) aus der 19. Dynastie des Neuen Reichs. Er regierte von 1279 bis 1213 v. Chr. und war einer der bedeutendsten Herrscher des Alten Ägypten.

Während seiner Regierungszeit erreichte Ägypten eine wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Blüte, wie sie nach ihm unter keinem Pharao mehr erreicht wurde. Durch sein diplomatisches Handeln gelang es ihm, einen fast fünfzigjährigen Frieden mit seinen Nachbarvölkern, darunter auch mit den Hethitern, zu halten.

Ramesses II (c. 1303 BCE – July or August 1213 BCE;  referred to as "Ramesses the Great", was the third Egyptian pharaoh (reigned 1279 BCE – 1213 BCE) of the Nineteenth dynasty. He is often regarded as the greatest, most celebrated, and most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian Empire.His successors and later Egyptians called him the "Great Ancestor". Ramesses II led several military expeditions into the Levant, re-asserting Egyptian control over Canaan. He also led expeditions to the south, into Nubia, commemorated in inscriptions at Beit el-Wali and Gerf Hussein.
