To spread Joe Peterson's good nature and his trust in the good of people.
Joe Peterson, Co-founder, Escapees RV Club
04/23/1927 – 12/22/2010
Joe always carried a pocketful of gold coins with him to give to people, not only for tips, but “just because” he felt they deserved it. Such was his giving nature.
At his memorial service , family members passed out gold coins to everyone in the room. One more treasured keepsake of Joe we will carry with us.
Yes, Joe was a giver and one lesson we can remember from him is his trust in mankind. Because of this trust he carried with him, Joe said, “I am not going to let anyone else’s bad deeds change my good nature.”

We took a trip to our first ever Mega Event and thought this would be a good place to get it into the hands of a cacher from far away and get it to another part of the country. Thanks for letting me travel with your TB! What an awesome tribute to a great guy.

I had to come down to Iowa to fill in some of my Jasmer grid, so I brought my trackables with me. Here's some more miles and another state visited!

Out visiting Pipestone, Minnesota where the Sioux carved peace pipes out of the soft stone. While here, we zipped across the nearby border to grab a quick cache in South Dakota and took the TBs with us to get some more miles and states.

This is a historic cache - it was the first cache placed in the state of Minnesota, making it the oldest active cache in the state. It's a Mecca for all Minnesota geocachers, and I had to make the trek up here to visit it - and I brought all my TBs with me for the ride.

I needed a month/year combo for my Jasmer grid, so I stopped off at this one on my way north. It also allows the TB to visit another state! This is a very cool windmill and log cabin with a lot of history that I never would have found if it weren't for geocaching!
