Current Goal

Ziel meiner Reise ist Asien, die Insel Mactan auf den Philippinen und die Heimat meines Namenspatrons Lapu Lapu. Auf dem Weg dorthin möchte ich viele schöne Orte besuchen. Geocaching ist in Asien und auch auf den Philippinen nicht sehr verbreitet, daher freue ich mich über jedes Log und jedes Foto von diesem Kontinent! Nach erfolgreicher Mission würde ich mich freuen, wieder zu meinem Besitzer nach Deutschland zurückzukehren.
Bitte helft mir auf dieser anstrengenden Reise!
 
Destination of my journey is Asia, the island of Mactan in the Philippines – home of my eponym Lapu Lapu. On my way there I like to visit a lot of interesting places. Geocaching is not very popular in Asia and also not in the Philippines. So I am looking forward to seeing any log and photo from this continent. After successful mission completion I would be very happy to be taken back to my owner to Germany.
Please help me to complete this hard mission!

Mein Namenspatron Lapu Lapu, auch Cilapulapu oder Kaliph Pulaka, lebte von 1484 bis 1564 und war Stammeshäuptling der Insel Mata-an,  dem heutigen Mactan auf den Philippinen. Er gilt als einer der ersten Nationalhelden der Philippinen, da er Ferdinand Magellan in der Schlacht von Mactan  am 27.4.1521 besiegte und sich so erfolgreich gegen die spanische Kolonialisierung Cebus erhob. Magellan selbst fiel in dieser Schlacht. An der langjährigen Kolonialherrschaft Spaniens auf den Philippinen änderte dies jedoch wenig…
