Current Goal

2012 is undoubtedly the year of the London Olympics, but it's a momentous year for chickens - the 1999 EU directive banning the use of battery cages finally comes in to force. This little trackable chicken has a very simple mission, to spread awareness. In the event he should wander beyond the European Union, then he'll raise awareness in other countries, many of whom still keep chickens in battery cages. Thanks for transporting our chicken, one of several 'escaped chickens,' each of which has a mission to complete.

Passed to some German geocachers whi were camping in Northern Ireland as part of their annual international scout camp. It will be next week before they are home and able to grab this TB from me.

This little chicken hasn't escaped my clutches. He has just been ignored for a wee while while geocaching had to take a back seat for a few months. With nearly everything else in life back in place and up to date time to start enjoying the game again and this wee one will be finding a new home soon.
