Bamboo the Panda Travel Tag

We overshot our hotel so that we could extend our trip just a little bit. The whole fam came close to this stash, which we thought would be a relatively easy find along our way. We parked on the main road and headed to the bell tower, which we didn’t realized was attached to the closest and cutest little cemetery. I say cute, but obviously a cemetery ain’t cute. But it is secluded, peacefully in the middle of nowhere, just in fields. Small and tiny, I’m not sure who it would host but the overall feeling from this place was that the term ‘Rest in Peace’ definitely had full meaning here. 

We found the little stash without issue, signed the log, and snapped a photo. I’m glad this TB accompanied us for this little stop, before we retuned towards the hotel!

This is the last stop of the day, which we honestly should have made yesterday already. It’s the cache which is by our hotel; our hotel room is literally less than 100 meters from GZ. But we left it as the last stop of today, after ditching our car in the parking lot, Laura and I walked to the stash and were able to find it quickly. It’s peculiarly hidden within a rock wall, and while it’s obvious, it’s also perfectly inconspicuous. We opened up the lock & lock and inked in our nick, and were happy this TB could visit the stash with us!

After finishing our hike, we were a little exhausted but were happy with our accomplishments during the hike. We headed back towards our temporary HC, but along the way stopped by this stash. A little lock and lock atop a small overpass, Laura hopped our the car to visit the stash while I had my sights set on an adventure lab. She uncovered the stash, and in it found a panda. Wait.

A panda?!

Here, in this frosty landscape of snow and ice? In Europe, in the middle of the winter!? 

This didn’t seem right at all!

When we found a panda in such a cache, we immediately checked your goal, and description. But they are both empty…! And so we checked your map, and saw that you have been bouncing around Europe for a while! 

Well, we knew we had to rectify this! In 11 days, we’re flying back to Malaysia, and I think we all know that you’d be happier in warm Malaysia rather than in this freezing country.

And so we decided to keep you, take you on to Malaysia, and maybe in a month or so, we’ll say goodbye. We don’t like the cold either, so we’ll be sure to be in some warmer rooms until we fly east. 

Let our travels together begin! Glad that you had a nice time traveling with our Geo-Friend Storm Hellscream! I’m sure he showed you a good time, as well!
