Polly was born April 14, 2011. We got Polly when we received our GPS and started geocaching. We look forward to seeing pictures of his adventures for years to come.

    Took him. He had a bad time, no water. Now he spent a week in En Gedi at the Dead Sea, here its like in paradise. But he said, he would like a more moderate climate. We look, what we can do for him.

    Polly made quite a few stops upon arriving in Israel. It took us several cache visits before we could find a suitable home for her! She spent about a month hanging around Haifa visiting the Bahai gardens, hiking in the forest, and playing with some cows. Then she traveled to Tel Aviv and enjoyed a day out in the big city and a stop at the Med Sea. But her favorite trip was to Eilat and the Red Sea! It is quite warm down there so Polly really enjoyed all the sun and fresh air. She did some hiking and some people watching on the boardwalk. She wanted to try some snorkeling but there were no wetsuits in her size. Polly had so much fun that she insisted we leave her there! Good luck on your next adventure, Polly!

    We found Polly resting in Alabama, which is where he has been since he was born.
    We asked him if he was grown enough to travel, and he quickly nodded and flapped his red-green wings.
    We took him along the ride, and let him know that he is very lucky, since his very first long-distance trip is going to be to the holiest place to all parrots, Israel!
    We are going back home next week, and we will be sure to take pictures of Polly along the trip and place him in an Israeli cache upon arrival.

    Out on a beautiful New Years Eve doing some caching, so I dropped the parrot off here in Oak Mountain.

    This was a fun cache in the woods. This was my second cache ever found. This was very fun and a little hard but it was worth it because we found Polly the parrot.
