Ein Shiva: Today we traveled from Nazareth to Capernaum and walked were Jesus walked. First we stopped at Magdala where I experienced a very moving personal moment. The day continued as we sailed on the Sea of Galilee, visited St Peter’s restaurant (the kabob was great and very filling), old Capernaum where it is believed that Jesus stayed with Peter, this stop and finally the Mount of the Beatitudes before heading back to Nazareth. We arrived here late in the day and the gate was locked after we came in. My muggle friend (who I think I have converted to the game) and I asked the gate keeper to let us out “to take a picture” and then let us back in. We found the container pretty quickly (I hope no one mistakes it for trash as there was a lot here) and got back inside with seconds to spare to actually get into the church before our bus left.

Goes of Nazareth: Arrived in Israel this morning at 3:45 AM from California, USA with a 7 hour layover in London. I am so close to completing 3 straight years of COTD I had to make a slight detour on our tour today. We started out with lunch then the Basilica of the Annunciation, St Joseph’s, the Old Synagogue site, and then on to Mary’s Well. Such a meaningful day for me. At one point we were about 165 ft away but didn’t want to leave our group. On the way back, my muggle friend and I did leave the group in search of the cache. It was right where it should have been. Then the tricky part was navigating back to the hotel (I forgot to set a waypoint) but we found it with just a little backtracking.

The Killer’s Dustland Fairytale: I had a Tardis TB that I just had to take to the cache up the road. While I’m here I see I hadn’t grabbed this one yet so I did. The magnet is not sticking well and I see why it was on the ground and fear that it will find it’s way back in the future.
