Dolphie has been liberated from his hiding place at "Holy Ground" just south of Lexington, Nebraska. He was close to the route of the old Oregon Trail that many westward bound settlers used during the 1800's before the railroads moved west. Across the Platte River, to the north, was the Mormon Trail and the Pony Express mail route.
The blue Dolphin will spend the next few days warming himself in my house until I go into town to the Post Office on Friday.
Dolphie will travel via modern U. S. mail along Interstate 80 that follows much of the old settlers' trails (Mormon and Oregon). By next week Dolphie will be in north Denver, Colorado and seeking another active cache to spend the day in.
The cache was revisited on March 3 and a $1 gambling token was added from the Blackhawk Casino in Colorado.
Maybe, by going west, he will go east to India. One can only hope. Lately he's been going north and south, so maybe the change will do him good.

Today Dolphie was placed in a cache in the area around D.I.A. (Denver International Airport) in Colorado. It is my hope that a dashing pilot find Dolphie and help him get closer to his destination.
