My brother picked up Pokey in California and brought him to New Mexico. He is currently residing in a cache on Bear Mountain Road in Silver City, New Mexico. We are new to loggin the travel bugs and made a couple mistakes. We are getting these corrected and Pokey should be showing up on our cache page in a couple days.

Placed pokey at Chloride Flats Cache. It's been a slow journey, but it is good to get out of all that Oregon rain. I am now in the wild west in the small town of Silver City, New Mexico. It is very beautiful here. There are a lot of old mines in the area - believe they are mostly silver and copper. Hope the creatures here are friendly - some are kind of strange looking, like the horned toad and this bug they call vinegarone. I do have a big red dog living with me for protection. Getting kind of tired so will sign off for now. Hope to hear from someone soon.

fun at the breakfast and is now stretching all his little
