Current Goal

My Mission is to travel between more caches and accumulate more miles than my sibling's Travel Bugs (PaulBug, JohnBug and SarahBug). Please move me along to another good cache as soon as you can.

About This Item

MaryBug is one of four bugs representing our kids. We'll be keeping track of each one's mileage, how many caches they visit and other interesting aspects as they move from cache to cache. It won't be simply a case of 'sibling rivalry' (although I'm sure that will come into play!). As they travel our whole family will learn a lot about the world we live in. We may even take a trip to see if we can meet up with one of the travel bugs. Who knows!?! Right now, only our oldest four have travel bugs named after them. Down the road there may be a SamBug, or, if my wife has it her way (and God willing, of course!), another bug or two will come along--names yet to be determined.

    After I placed Mary Bug in They Paved Paradise, I noticed a couple of online logs said the listed travel bugs were not in the cache. I revisited the cache and the log inside was signed by The_Madhatter and Kendall_ that said "took 2 travel bugs", with a date of 12/9/09. One of the two taken was Mary Bug and the other one was left by Alanis at the same time that I left Mary Bug. I don't know why the cachers did not log them online. I don't even think they logged the cache as found online. I hope someday Mary Bug will turn up. I'm sorry I don't have any more information.
