The Borg are a species who absorb and assimilate all cultures and technology which they encounter (other travel bugs). Resistance is futile!
When other travel bugs share a cache with The Borg, they are “assimilated” and become Borg themselves. Their previously set goals become moot and they join the Borg “Collective”. Other bugs should be attached to the Borg’s large chain and then travel together as one. Cachers should continue to log them each individually so that their owners can continue to track them but the group now moves as one “hive” from cache to cache. The only way bugs can gain their release from The Borg is if they encounter another travel bug from the Star Trek series. When this happens, all bugs gain their freedom and The Borg goes forth alone to continue its mission of assimilation.
P.S. This is just for fun. If a bug owner really objects to their mission being delayed, please don't "assimmilate" the bug. Even on the show, some species are lucky enough to get away from The Borg!
