Current Goal

Jeep Knob has been off-roading mostly with Code 3 Offroad, but would love to find some more OHV trails to explore with some new friends. Or even just any great, gnarly goat trail not intended for mere mortal passenger cars.
Photo is from the Jolly Jeepers Rally in the Tillamook State Forest, July 19th, 2003. Wheels were never intended to touch the Earth at all times ;)

About This Item

Jolly Jeeprs Rally

Jeep Knob is from a 1972 Jeep CJ-5 and has seen some mighty rough country. Made of pure aluminum with a lovely knurled edge, Jeep Knob is one of three Jeep knobs that control the extremely complex heating and cooling system in a pre-AMC Jeep vehicle. If anyone knows of some good trails or wants to join up with Code 3 Offroad for some 4 x 4ing, contact us @ code3offroad@hotmail.com, and we'll meet up. We are ALWAYS at the Jolly Jeepers Rally every July in the Tillamook State Forest, and can often be found in the Table Rock Wilderness area near Molalla, and the Central Oregon High Desert. "Code 3" refers to a full response, lights & sirens for emergency vehicles. We are active members of our local volunteer Fire Dept. and EMT's.

Visit the brand-new Oregon-specific Geocaching forums at www.oregongeocaching.org. Join up, log in and put in your 2 cents worth!

As you are well aware, any movement is better than no movement at all, so if you pick up Jeep Knob and are unable to help it towards any "goal" that's OK. Just drop it off in the next cache. Jeep Knob was made for travel, not to be stalled!

WOW! If I had known this TB's mission, I'd had grabbed him to go off-road in my Rover!
