Some of you may be fimiliar with the tourist hot spot of the delaware river, many take vacations to go Kayaking, camping, ziplining, or simply floating miles and miles by tube for the day! The delaware river has many cool places along the way even a hot dog stand you can row your canoe/kayak up to and get a hot dog! there is several floating resturants like this on the way down! but in the past ten years big oil companies have been trying to hydrofrac aka "Frack" the delware river basin. Fracking is the pumping of crude oil, diesel, water or chemicals into a reservoir with such force that the reservoir rock is cracked and results in greater flow of oil or gas from the reservoir. the delaware river basin is a drinking source to more than 18 million people. During the process of Fracking more than 9 out of 10 times the water becomes very polluted pumping chemicals into the drinking source causing all sorts of sickness even cancer. something needs to be done to stop this!
