Friendfinder's Symbolon

Den här geocoin har två centrala mål:

1. stanna i Sverige. Vänta där till ”Northgermanic Friendfinder” (TB4572B) – som resar från Tyskland till Sverige – ankommer. Sedan se till att de träffas.

2. Efter det res till Wuppertal, Tyskland och vänta på ägaren.

Aktuel status: mål 1 är ännu inte uppnått.

Ett Symbolon (grekisk: σύμβολον) – som inte må bli förväxlad med en metafor – är inte bara som sitt motstycke eller det är en del av sitt motstycke; därför att det är detsamma. I antikens Grekland gav en värd sin gäst som skulle gå en halv söndrig leraskiva, ett Symbolon, så att han kunde känner igen honom när han kom tillbaka. ”Friendfinder’s Symbolon” är det motstycke av ”Northgermanic Friendfinder” (TB4572B) som är i begrepp att hitta en svensk brevvän för sin ägare sedan september 2011. 
Den här geocoin ska vänta på sitt motstycke till det ankommer i Sverige. Sedan ska de treffas och hälsa på (en geocacher måste hålla båda mynten i sin hand, åtminstone för en stund). Efter det ska båda mynten gå skilda väger igen.

This geocoin has two major missions:

1. stay in Sweden. There, wait for “Northgermanic Friendfinder”  (TB4572B)—which is traveling from Germany to Sweden— to arrive and meet it.

2. having met TB4572B, travel to Wuppertal, Germany and wait for owner.

Current status: Goal 1 has not been achieved yet.

A Symbolon (greek: σύμβολον)—not to be mistaken for a metaphor—is not only like its counterpart, it is part of its counterpart; and so it is one and the same. In ancient Greece, a host gave his departing guest one half of a broken pot shard, a Symbolon, so that he could recognize him when he came back. “Friendfinder’s Symbolon” is the counterpart of “Northgermanic Friendfinder” (TB4572B) which is on its way to find a swedish pen pal for its owner since September 2011. 
This coin in hand shall wait for its counterpart until it arrives in Sweden. Than it has to meet and greet it (one geocacher has to have both coins in his hand for at least one moment). After this, both coins shall go their way again.

Diese Geocoin hat zwei zentrale Missionen:

1. zunächst in Schweden bleiben. Dort warten, bis „Northgermanic Friendfinder“  (TB4572B) – die von Deutschland nach Schweden reist – eintrifft, diese dann treffen und willkommen heißen.

2. Nach dem Zusammentreffen mit TB4572B nach Wuppertal, Deutschland reisen und auf den Besitzer warten.

Aktueller Status: Ziel 1 ist noch nicht erreicht.

Ein Symbolon (Griechisch: σύμβολον) – nicht mit einer Metapher zu verwechseln – ist nicht nur wie sein Gegenstück, es ist Teil seines Gegenstücks; und somit ist es ein und dasselbe. Im antiken Griechenland gab ein Gastgeber seinem Gast die Hälfte einer zerbrochenen Tonscherbe, ein Symbolon, sodass er ihn erkennen konnte, wenn er zurückkam. „Friendfinder’s Symbolon“ ist das Gegenstück zu „Northgermanic Friendfinder“ (TB4572B), die seit September 2011 unterwegs ist, um eine schwedische Brieffreundin für ihren Besitzer zu finden.
Die vorliegende Münze soll auf ihr Gegenstück warten, bis es in Schweden ankommt. Dann muss sie die andere Coin treffen und willkommen heißen (hierfür muss ein Geocacher beide Münzen zumindest für einen Moment in einer Hand halten). Anschließend sollen beide Münzen wieder ihrer Wege gehen.
