Current Goal

To go where no Aardvark has gone before......to travel great distances in her Airstream meeting new friends. Her ultimate goal is to make it to Hollywood where she will become more famous than Miss Piggy.

She is in a race with these other Aardvarks to get as many miles as possible.

UPDATE!

Flaardy is done with her race. Although she did a great job and had many great adventures she didn't win. But that's ok. In her heart she knows she's a winner!

Ok, Flaardy finally has a name!

Poor thing was so distraught for so long! She was beginning to think that her memory was failing her. (it was, just don't tell her)

Flaardy started out as a wee little thing. She didn't look like any of her siblings. But she didn't care. She knew her mama & daddy loved her no matter that she was PINK! Flaardy has spunk and good looks to go with that spunk. she wasn't about to let anyone tell her different. When she was younger she thought she might be a musician, but sadly that didn't pan out as her 'fingers' were just too fat to hold a flute correctly. SO she decided she would become a MOVIE STAR just like Miss Piggy! Actually, better than Miss Piggy! After all, she had feathers and Miss Piggy didn't. When Flaardy the Pink Aardvark turned 18 she headed off to Hollywood to make her dreams come true.
Along the way she met some wonderful folks who just thought she was adorable. One was an ant farmer who packaged up some tasty treats for her to take on her journey. Flaardy wouldn't forget this kind soul when she became rich and famous. Another was a fellow Airstreamer who noticed Flaardy's Airstream trailing behind her. They stopped for a coffee (of course) and chatted about their adventures on the road. This Airstreamer gave Flaardy some coupons for free camping all along Route 80! Oh she wouldn't forget that kind soul either!

Well, Flaardy has made it back home because she ran out of money. SO she worked for awhile waitressing and singing in local pubs. Now she's ready to move on again and try her hand......errr....paw.....umm....foot.... at acting once again. This time she knows she'll make it!! She did have a shot at it in England but alas, her American accent wasn't what those Englanders wanted. [:(]

So, now she's hitting the road and welcomes any help she can get to get herself to Hollywood! She hasn't given up on her dream of being more famous than Miss Piggy! Her mama & daddy have given her some $$$, a backpack full of grub, and a book on 'how to be famous in Hollywood'. She's all set. She's ready. She's happy. She's excited!
If you see her please help her along in anyway you can! (she likes ants) hint hint.

Please tell her to take pictures along the way so we know she's ok! If she can make it back to CT for next summers' BBQ that would be great!!

This has been missing since 04/25/2013, which is 2 days shy of [u]2½ years[/u]. I truly do hope that it turns up one day soon but, in the mean time, please change its designation to "Missing" so its location can be marked "Unknown". That way, it can [b]finally[/b] be properly de-listed from the designated cache's inventory online.

Oh poor Flaardy! Lost! Lonely! Listless! Well only listless if there's no food around lol I do hope Flaardy is just taking a coffee break and will soon be back into the caching game! If you've seen Flaardy please tell her to only get a small and get back on the road. 😎

After logging "you've got mail" today, I realized my old friend Flaardy was supposed to be in there. There is no mistaking her, so I can definitely say she's not there. Hopefully she'll turn up down the road somewhere.
