Photo taken in Woodland Park, Colorado, where we live and close to our home, have a very good view of Pikes Peak. At 14,110 feet (4300 meters), Pikes Peak was the inspiration to Katharine Lee Bates who, in 1895, wrote "America the Beautiful". In the attached photo, Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain, near the center of the picture. Also, Pikes Peak is the site of the second oldest auto race in the US – the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), second only to the Indianapolis 500. The PPIHC celebrated its 100th anniversary on June 26, 2016. Photo taken from 38° 59.343'N 105° 3.695'W

Grabbed this nice geocoin proxy from a cache of ours to get it moving -- it has been there long enough. Will drop it off in another cache soon. Glenn (Dad of the 3 Williams Kidz) is retired US Navy, was in the Persian Gulf for OIF, and is now a defense contractor working at the NORAD and USNORTHCOM HQ on Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs.
