DEUTSCH.: Düsseldorfer Kanaldeckel mit „Radschläger“ und Referenz-Koordinaten "Check your GPS" 

Beschreibung:
Im Jahr 2010, zum 125jährigen Jubiläum des Vermessungsamts haben die Mitarbeiter diesen Geocoin herausgebracht. Vorderseite: Ein Kanaldeckel mit dem typischen Düsseldorfer Symbol, dem „Radschläger“.
Rückseite: Einige Messinstrumente und die UTM-Koordinaten des GPS-Referenzpunktes
(am Rheinufer, Nähe Pegelturm, mit QR-Code, N 51°13,5212’ und E 6°46,2057’ [WGS84]).
Dort könnte man sein GPS „eichen“.

Description:
2010, for the 125 year anniversary of the land surveying office this Geocoin was launched.
Front side: A manhole cover with the typical Duesseldorfer Symbol, the „Radschläger“ (children doing „cart wheels“).
Back side: Some measuring instruments and the coordinates of the GPS-reference spot
(at the Rhine bank, near „Pegelturm“, with QR-Code, N 51°13,5212’ and E 6°46,2057’).
You could "calibrate" your GPs here.
