Log Book

The travel bug and the accompanying logbook went to a Dodgers Game in Los Angeles with the help of EMC of Northridge, CA. Sadly the Dodgers lost 10-1 to the Braves. Check out the log entry for August 23, 2004 for some pictures of the game. If you are near any baseball park, major league or otherwise, when you have the bug in your possession, if possible, treat the logbook to a game. If you can't go to a game, at least drive by the stadium and let some of the karma of the great game of baseball permeate into the logbook. When it gets back to me, I'm sure I will be able to feel the spirit of baseball emanating from its pages.

Please do not hold this bug for more than a week and try to drop it off in a frequently visited cache to help it get to a game before the end of the baseball season. Travel bug hotels are ideal.

We're in St. George for the weekend. Since this TB wants to go to a Giants game in LA, I'm trying to decide if I should drop it off somewhere on the way home, or let it get a little pregame warmup at PacBell...Hmm...Stay tuned!

Here it is the night before the big trip. We are taking the TB Doger's Game to St. Geore and will drop it off there. It along with Angel's Game and Palindrome Bill hosted a slumber party for 4 new TB's also starting off in St. George.

  • Slumber Party for 4 new TB's. Three veteran TB's showing 4 newbies how to party like a true TB does. The newbies are Frosty Jack, Flower Power, Green Machine, and Big Red Chicken.
  • Two buddies bonding before bidding bye-bye Angel's Game and Dodger's Game saying final good-byes to each other before parting ways in St. George; each on its way to the big game.

I picked this bug up from Stumpy Returns on a very windy day. Nice break from work though. We are going to St. George soon so will drop off the Going to a Dodgers Game Bug in a cache in that area. It will be fun to see when this makes it to a Dodgers game. This St. George trip should take it about 300 miles closer to LA. Play Ball!!
