About This Item

This is Pemaquid Lighthouse it was built in 1827 and, though automated, still in use.The keepers house is now a Fisherman's Museum. This lighthouse was chosen to be represented on the 2003 Maine State quarter only to be issued this year.
My great grandfather Josiah Trebilcock brought his family from St.Austell,England to Oxford,Maine in 1865.I have traced my family back to the 1500's in the Cornwall area. There is a village of Trebilcock in that area as well,I would love to see a picture of this TB there.I live in Bath,Maine and we have a sister city of Bath,England that would be great place to visit also. There are dozens of towns and cities here in Maine named after places in England of course it would be great to see my TB visit some of those as well.
I thank all who can assist this TB on its travels and adventures and hope it will someday return to Bath,Maine,USA

Uploading a couple of photos from a recent trip into the Victorian High Country.

    • Mount Donna Buang not quite a lighthouse but at least a tall tower. Visited with his travelling mates Garfield (Anyone for Tennis?), North Cascades Souvenir and Steel City Babes IGM coin.
    • Snow! near the Mount Donna Buang tower, they found some residual snow to play in.

He has been travelling round Australia for a while, maybe he would like to start heading home to Maine, USA? Meantime we'll see about a lighthouse to visit back home in Victoria (been in Queensland quite long enough!). Photo of meeting new travelling companions to follow.

    • Near Mast Horizon meeting the new travelling chums, Garfield (Anyone for Tennis?) and Steel City Babes IGM coin. Yes, there are masts in the background, there was a regatta that day.
