4-year old Andrew has released "Traveling Tri", a stuffed Triceratops Travel Bug, into the wild. Tri has travelled all the way to Arizona, (where Andrew had a great time on a visit in 2001), and now is on his way back to any cache in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro, NC area so he can be retrieved.

Traveling Tri

Tri started out in the "Bikin' By Bolin" cache, in Carrboro, NC. He made it to Tuscon, AZ, and is now on his way back home to NC. If you've found Tri in a cache, please follow the instructions enclosed with him to help him on his way, and log in here to tell us about his travels with you. If you can, please post photos too!

Well, after almost 3 years and nearly 10,000 miles, Traveling Tri has made it to Arizona and back to Chapel Hill, NC. Andrew and the OverTheRiver gang picked him up from My Dear Watson without any difficulty. Andrew is almost twice as old as he was when Tri left home! He plans to print out the log and tell his class at McDougle Elementary all about Tri's travels. After that he plans to send Tri off to South Dakota on another quest! Thanks to all who helped Tri along the way, especially those who updated his info sheet and tagged him with an Arizona key chain, which Andrew will keep as a momento.

Traveling Tri has been enjoying some beautiful Meadowlands sunsets, and during one today we retrieved him because we expect to be heading south in a couple of weeks. Three imaginists.
