Dutch 2010 Geocoin Tag- front

The Dutch 2010 Geocoin was a designed by De Haelder who won the election with his design for the Dutch Geocoin 2010. Together with k2coins the artwork for the geocoin was finalized and the mintage was started.
During the mintage of the geocoin things went terrible wrong, which led to a delay in the mintage. Although reasons were comprehensible it causes a lot of displeasure against the responsible persons.
Given the current situation the mintage was nevertheless finished and the geocoins delivered with a two month delay to the purchasers. As an act of frienship each geocoin came with an additional pathtag to compensate the enormous delay.

Geo-Dragonchild stelde zijn geocoin verzameling ten toon tijdens het SAKE2016 event. We hebben genoten van de prachtige uitstalling en waren onder de indruk van de omvang van de verzameling.

Er zitten er een paar mooie tussen die ik wel in mijn collectie zou willen hebben :)

Am 08.10 waren wir DVERK's und unser Sohn Liam (LErdO) zu Gast in Holland auf dem Event Saens Kessers Evenement [SAKE2016] - GC64Z75-. Wir hatten die weite Anreise auf uns genommen und haben nicht nur viele nette Menschen getroffen, sondern auch bekannte Gesichter gesehen. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich mal wieder zu sehen und mit dir ein paar Worte wechseln aber natürlich und insbesondere deine fantastische Sammlung begutachtet. Daher bedanke ich mich dafür, deine besondere Sammlung (und deiner Freunde) discovern zu dürfen, es ist mir eine Ehre! Liebe Grüße aus Essen/NRW und wir sehen uns bestimmt in Maije oder in Bremerhaven wieder. Danke fürs zeigen! Tom

Deze verzameling gezien tijdens de SAKE2016. Prachtig tentoon gesteld in een overzichtelijke vitrine. Grandioos om dit bijeen te zien en de je ziet wat de moeite van de eigenaar en vooral de liefde voor deze leuke hobby. Bedankt.

I have been given this incredibly huge collection of trackables by Geo-Dragonchild. Since that moment I am trying to visit (and admire) individually as many of these trackables as possible - but the collection is so big that I may not be able to visit all of them in details. I met Geo-Dragonchild perhaps several times during various Mega and Giga events in Europe, definitely it was this month at North Wales Mega event on the beautiful Llangollen canal. The Geo-Dragonchild's collection gives really a pleasure to browse through. I congratulate the owner for the given time and investment that this collection represents. Indeed, incredible! Thanks.

This guy introduced me to geocaching a day in October 2011. The days are still counting 😁! Now I was invited for a great evening with chat and "coinfest". I am really proud knowing you and what a great collection. The coins are amazing!

Discovered at a great event i Stensjö by, so many amazing geocoins in the same area at the same time. Thanks to Geo Dragonchild for putting this event together and letting us meet up for a chat on a cold november afternoon.
