Sneezy's World Tour!!!!
During October, Sneezy stowed away for the adventure of his life. Climbing into the travel bags of Stanlyd, he made it through security at the Waterloo, Iowa airport early in the morning on 9 October and was on his way. Little did he realize just then that before his adventure was over he would circumnavigate the globe! A short hop to the Minneapolis airport was just the beginning, and soon after he was on his way to Amsterdam for a change of planes before heading out to Mumbai, India (Bombay to some). Arriving in Mumbai late night on October 10, Sneezy thought the bed at the Leela Hotel was just what he needed (Arrival in India). Way too soon though Sneezy was back in the air for a short hop to Pune, India, spending a couple days there getting accustomed to the India way of life. Life there was certainly different than he was used to, with scenes he never imagined before.
Soon Sneezy was on his way to Delhi for important meetings (see Sneezy in Boardroom). Always time though to enjoy life (Coffee in Delhi), and Sneezy found the Espresso in Delhi to his liking, enjoying a cup with his new friend Rajeev. Delhi is a thriving, busy center of activity, but after a week in India Sneezy was ready to fly again.
This time it was off to Beijing, but with time to explore Singapore along the way. The beach was great, with its blue waters and sandy shores. Sneezy even found time to check out a few jets at the Singapore airport (see Sneezy flying).
Arriving in Beijing late at night on October 15th, Sneezy was still up for a Great Wall adventure the next day (see Sneezy on Great Wall). After another week or so in China, Sneezy was getting anxious to see his old friends again. So on October 22 he boarded a 747 and was off to Tokyo and back to Waterloo. At first the departure boards had him very worried because he couldn't read Japanese (Tokyo Departure), but fortunately the people he met everywhere on this trip were very friendly and helpful. And so after another 24 hour trip, he was safely back in Waterloo, looking forward to more adventures!
