The Gulf Island Survivor Challenge is a family-friendly, easier series of GPS treasure hunts that are spread through the parks - at Prior Centennial Campground on Pender Island, McDonald Campground in Sidney. Winter Cove on Saturna Island and along the loop trail on Sydney Island

Parks Canada provide you the location of the first cache in each series and you follow the directions and clues inside each cache to find your way to the next one. Each cache includes a story about the park and a challenge. Once the challenges are complete redeem your preobtained passport for a commemorative coin.

Virtual discovery, but I wish I was in BC right now. I lived in Vancouver for a year but I was too busy at work to travel around. One day, I'll buy a camper and travel across Canada to spend some time over there. Greetings from the other end (Newfoundland)
