Since my first involvement with forest preserve personnel at DuPage County, I've maintained that geocachers best people to have walking the woods. The parks are things that we treasure and want to experience - and what we want to share with others. Original resistence of Forest Preserve personnel who were worried about people trampoing down wildlife has been replaced with embracing the fact that these people want to be outdoors! Always on the trail, there's evidence of those that are less respectful. So - Groundspeak started a campaign of "Cache In Trash Out" (CITO). This coin wants to travel and remind people to bring out the trash we find along the path to finding the cache. Leave this world a better place!
This rare coin was released to the wild on the 15th anniversary of the release of Selective Availability.
