Current Goal

Jiraiya likes to travel from cache to cache and meet new geocachers along the way.  He'd especially like to go to caches in Japan.  Perhaps he can even find some Ninja Warriors at Mount Midoriyama.

Jiraiya the Toad Sage

This was originally a trackable micro geo-award for being "First To Find" on a cache.  It started out as just a tag, but it looked a bit lonely, so I decided to attach it to a Jiraiya keychain.

JIRAIYA is a fictional character from the NARUTO manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. He was one of the Legendary Three Ninja of Konoha, collectively known as the Sannin, and was widely regarded for his great skill and power.  Jiraiya, an eccentric man, wandered the world, discovered and trained under the Toads of Mount Myoboku and later became the teacher of Naruto Uzumaki before being killed by another ninja who went by the name of Pain.  Jiraiya was able to obtain information for Naruto that led to Pain’s ultimate defeat.

I just couldn't allow a cool travel bug like this to risk getting lost, like so many others. So, since it was so close to home, I grabbed it. He's in good hands until I'll find a good home for him.
