PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN WITH THIS FLAG! This flag is part of a geo-game started in April 2011 of CAPTURE THE FLAG. If you do not intend to play this game, please leave this trackable in the cache you found it in. If you are not from Southeastern Wisconsin you can still play -- but please follow the instructions below. The COORDINATES for the puzzle cache (visit link) are:

You must take this trackable with you to my puzzle cache, GC2RVAF "CAPTURE THE FLAG chevyole BASE" in order to log a find there.  If you do not intend to, please leave this trackable in the cache you found it in.  Exception:  If you have captured this flag before and are capturing it again to find a new BASE another cacher has created, you do not need to take the flag to the chevyole base.  Do NOT place this trackable in my base, rather log it as "visited". Then promptly place this trackable in your own base, a cache that you make, own, or is one of your favorites in Southeastern Wisconsin.  Please do not go outside of a 20 mile radius of GC2RVAF. When found follow the following steps:
1) Retrieve from cache it was in OR grab it from the previous finder
a) if grabbed, "dip" the trackable in the cache you found it in (if applicable).
2) Find and visit the CAPTURE THE FLAG base(s) with the trackable
3) Place the trackable in your own base (see above for more detail)

About This Item

Capture the Flag was one of my favorite games as a kid. Capture the Flag is a game played where two teams each have a flag and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's base and bring it safely back to their own base. The original flag ref: TB47M8Z was found by nine die-hard SE Wisconsin geocachers before it was muggled.

    I'll be bringing the flag to visit the base, and then have a spot picked out for its new home. This is a perfect way for me to mark my one-year anniversary of geocaching.

    The Flag is in a very safe place now and well guarded. If you haven't found this cache yet plan on about an hour to complete it. You won't be disappointed.

    Second time the flag was placed in the same cache of mine and no way I was going to miss getting it this time. I knew the grass would be wet this morning so I put waterproof shoes on. I forgot to compensate for the grass that was 4" high when I hid this cache is now 3' high. Well I got the flag and I also got soaked all the way wo my waist. No bugs and I did see a rabbit, two deer and a beaver on the way in to the cache. This sounds like a nature paradise, but it is in the middle of Sussex and only .15 from the road.

    Grabbed version 2.0 after a .6 mile walk in the mud to get to GZ. The last time I was at this cache it was at night in the snow. This time it was daylight, green, and muddy. I like the daylight scenario better. 😉 We plan on moving the flag to a SAFE location tomorrow for find #1,000 🙂

    Yes, I was evil, but not too evil. While you are capturing the flag, you might want to chase the monkey down (or up) the river.
