The Kid and His Twinkie

Read the following article about a real test done on the "purported durability and unusual physical characteristics of Twinkies."

The Kid's Twinkie Test is Geocaching's version of this "purported durability" of Twinkies. The twinkie inside needs to be subjected to geocache travel: mountains, lowlands, highlands, flood plains, dry heat, torrential downpours, scorching temperatures, Amazon jungles, deserts, foreign lands - you name it. Feel free to photograph drastic conditions. We'll see if it survives to journey's end.

Dropped him off at Blake Island earlier this year and thought he would be moved to Seattle but no such luck - poor guy just sat in a box on the lonely island. Had a friend grab him while visiting the island today so will move him on ASAP!

This was a fun find. We were off course by the posted waypoint, but did some turning around and looking and found it. Good Cache. We have The Kid's Twinkie TB, now getting ready to travel on. Watch for him as he embarks on his next travel adventure!
