About This Item

The Kid and His Twinkie

Read the following article about a real test done on the "purported durability and unusual physical characteristics of Twinkies."

The Kid's Twinkie Test is Geocaching's version of this "purported durability" of Twinkies. The twinkie inside needs to be subjected to geocache travel: mountains, lowlands, highlands, flood plains, dry heat, torrential downpours, scorching temperatures, Amazon jungles, deserts, foreign lands - you name it. Feel free to photograph drastic conditions. We'll see if it survives to journey's end.

IN YOUR LOG please include Twinkie recipes, little-known facts, and personal experiences about Twinkies.

ok, when we saw this travel bug we just HAD to take it home with us!!! In college I must say that I loved these things...but at the time I also would suck out all of its sweet insides and throw a pickle spear inside...the thought of it grosses me out now, but back then it sure seemed like a tasty thing to do!!! We will be sure to put this twinkie through some tests and send it on its way...hope to take some pictures of its adventures!!!
