Stolen. Very obviously stolen 👎 Unless whoever picked this up is incredibly absent-minded, in which case, s/he should not be allowed outside without supervision.
No, this was stolen, we are pretty sure. The very next log on Scenic Route, after we dropped this off, states that there were no travelers inside; that was 2½ months later, which is plenty of time for a nefarious individual to come out and rip this off. There is always a small chance that it did get moved along, and not logged, but the uniqueness of this item mitigates against that; we cannot imagine someone not noticing it.

TO WHOEVER PICKED THIS UP, IT SEEMS PLAIN THAT YOU TOOK IT WITH NO INTENTION OF MOVING IT ALONG. THUS, YOU ARE A THIEF!! WE OWN THIS TRAVELER; WE SENT IT OUT INTO THE WORLD FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO ENJOY AND TO MOVE ALONG. YOU CANNOT SELL IT OR ADOPT IT; YOU CAN'T EVEN SHOW IT TO OTHERS WITHOUT RISKING THEM FINDING OUT THAT YOU ARE A PETTY CRIMINAL. WE HOPE THAT YOU GET A CONSCIENCE AND DROP THIS INTO A CACHE SOON.
TO ALL OTHERS: IF YOU SEE THIS IN THE COLLECTION OF A CACHER OTHER THAN US, BE AWARE THAT IT IS STOLEN PROPERTY.
