Current Goal

My goal is to make it to Hollywood Walk of Fame and get my photo taken at the Bela Lugosi's star at 6340 Hollywood Blvd. Like this horrific TB, Lugosi was a start of one of the greatest horror films ever made.... "Dracula".  Goal #1 has been met on 10/28/2012.  Thanks for moving me along.


New Goal #2:  To visit the Birthplace of Bela.  Vist  Geocache GC2FY7X- Losif Constantin Dragan in Lugoj, Romania.... the hometown of Mr. Lugosi.  Appears to be the only Geocache in the town.

This eyeball is all seeing. I will see who grabs me and who I am sharing a cache with. Be sure to move me along soon as I see ALL and what I see, I can tell!!! Despite his critically acclaimed performance on stage, Lugosi was not the Universal Pictures first choice for the role of Dracula. Lon Chaney was Universal's first choice for the role, and that Lugosi was chosen only due to Chaney's death shortly before production. He continued to perform in dozens and dozens of films through his life. Lugosi was buried in 1956 wearing one of the Dracula stage play costumes, per the request of his son and fourth wife not by Bela himself.
