Current Goal

The National WW II Museum Travel Bug desires to travel to any sites associated with military service: tombs of soldiers, memorials, museums, or battle fields.  If such a destination is not convenient, then simply move it to another location.  Pictures of its adventures with geocachers and places it visits are appreciated.  Also, it may be virtually dropped and retrieved from caches that cannot accommodate it.

About This Item

I am very pleased with the life this travel bug has led. May its adventures continue in its current form. I do not know why the key was replaced with a picture. All I know is that it was reported as replaced in March 6, 2023.

Picked up at cache at site of the Bonnie and Clyde ambush, will move along generally north. Wonder how long the actual key has been missing and replaced with the photocopy. Stolen, or CO sent out a proxy?

.................................... Ruston TB Hostel in Ruston, Louisiana! Whew! It's been a good long road traveling with National WWII Museum, but we think we finally found a safe and secure hostel for it to await its next hitch. Close to an area in Mississippi ripe with National history. We Believe National WWII had fun with us traveling all over the world this past year. We know that we did. Have a look at its passport and you'll see what we mean. For now, thanks for the fun, good luck in your future travels. Aloha!
