Current Goal

Get Hoops & Yoyo going! These guys just want to travel however, one of them seems to complain a lot. I think I was that peson when I was younger. [;)] It does not matter where they go, just take them with you on you road trip, vacation, or even Sunday drive. I'm just interested in seeing where they go. When you log them back in, feel free to share a funny road trip story.

I can remember driving from Winnipeg to Toronto with Mom, Dad, and my brother Dan. We were fairly young and this was back around 1982'ish. It was really boring in the back seat, none of this Game Boy, PSP, DVD, or iPad stuff. Just hours of gazing at farmland out the window. Ooooohhhh...a cow...and another....and another....punch buggy no return!!! Don't get me wrong, we had fun, but it got monotonous when Dad was driving. We were on a schedule after all . Mom would sometimes break the rules and make Dad stop for more than gas and a bathroom break. But when he didn't she would wait until he was asleep in the passenger seat and set Dan and I loose on beaches we were passing. We would have a great time until Dad woke up and yelled for us to get back in the car....we were on a schedule after all.

I could also regale you about the times that the whole family would go on a trip (5 kids). Dan and I always got relegated in the seat that would come out of the station wagon trunk floor. The "back, back seat". You know the one....the "safest" seat to be in. Ours was even more safe due to the holes in the floor of the trunk. The trip always seemed to go faster when we were back there, not that I remember many of them......But that's another story for another time.

I discovered this TB in the cache GC5CPCM- 14. Cass Bridge Conservation Area. The previous cacher probably didn’t have time to log it, so here it is. I will log it in the cache. 🤭
