I am in for a long travel to see the world, hey I want to live instead of ending up on a plate! As my name indicates I thrive best in and around smaller farms, I like the mountain farms of Scandinavia and after that I like to visit the Alps. I don't like busy cities. Busy areas and cities I don't like - too dangerous for me, I may not survive. So do not hold on to me but keep me alive and moving by helping me, carefully. I will be forever grateful.

Once, there was cow named Carla

Once, there was cow named Carla - it's me! I was born not so long ago, on a small dairy farm in the hills of Norway, in an area called Krokskogen. Here are many forests, lakes, and it is very nice. Here there are also many old farms, this is where my parents lived. With me on the farm are more animals: some sheep, a few horses. Of coarse a few chicken. It is a hard life on our small farm, but we play a lot, there is a lot of space here. Come and play with us!

But now the time has come to see the world. Carla wants to travel. She is all dressed up, ready to explore the green pastures of the world. Being from the mountains I like small farms and dairy areas. I hope my travels will bring all over Norway, Sweden, and maybe ultimately to the Alps. So please help me moving me from geocache to geocache.

I took Carla to meet some real cows at a local farm today. Unfortunately I was unable to take usable pictures because the cows were not at all cooperative. Whatever. I dropped her in this event, and I hope that her journey will continue.
