Since this TB has made it way all the way to Germany, (as of June 2012)I'd like it to take a little detour before moving onto Australia, the final destination.
I have a good friend in Berlin (dadndaughter) who I'd like it to visit before continuing on to Australia. Please send it to Berlin and once I see that it's closing in on being dropped into a cache there, I can give further details.Thankyou! Danke!
Boomerang Bob would like to see real boomerangs and get close to the real Bob. If this TB could make to Australia, Roma, more specifically, that would be great! The closest cache to his home (see below) is "Little Rig" GC1PWVY
This travel bug is named Boomerang Bob for two reasons. Firstly, its character name (the first part) in the game "Angry Birds", and secondly, the Australian reference made me think of my friend, Bob, in Australia. He came to Canada a couple of years ago for a visit "to see the Canadian girls" he met in Germany in 2006. I took him to a geocache that I'd found close to home so he could see what all the fuss was about. Unfortunately, he tripped over a branch and went flying. Kind of like Boomerang Bird. Hence, the name.....PS He didn't take up the hobby but does ask about my adventures when he calls.
