Alpaca Tracka is dedicated to Halcyon Margurite, our first Alpaca and the best Mum Alpaca we've had. She died 31st July 2011 after 3 days fighting for herself and her baby, from Polio (^&)%^%*(& / Calcium depletion (Milk fever type problem). She is survived by her 4 week old baby (Selena) who she has passed on her lovely temprement and enough knowledge to live. Picture to follow.
The Alpaca Tracka has 2 missions. The first part of it's mission is to travel 'up north' to see the wild camel herds in the Northern Territory. Alpaca are from the 'Camelids' family. As are Camels and the in between sized Llama.
Once the Alpaca Tracka has seen his wild cousins, he'd like to travel to Peru and even Chile where all the Alpaca originated from.
Maybe one day he'll even get to Egypt and visit the true 'ships of the desert' as the Camels are called over there.
It's ironic that Camels survive in the blistering heat and Alpaca are at home in snowy mountains of Peru / Chile.
