Current Goal

This Travel Bug was created to fulfill a requirement for the Geocaching merit badge which I hope to complete soon. For this merit badge, I have to create a Scouting-related TB that promotes one of the values of Scouting. Then I have to "release" the TB into a public geocache and monitor its progress for 30 days.

Since this is a scouting TB, its goal is to travel the world seeking out Scouts from all nations. I can’t wait to see where my fellow cachers’ take it.

Spencer's Scout Bug

This travel bug consists of Mid-America Council patch and a Scout Oath medalian attached to a travel bug dog tag. If you are not familiar with the Scout Oath, I hope you will take a minute and read it.

Seems fitting we will be dropping off Spencer's Boy Scouting tb today in a Preserve http://coord.info/GC2C9ZC that has several Eagle projects done there 👍. We attached a scouting pin that we found sometime ago in another cache....see photo. Mr. H2 is an eagle and so was Mrs. H2's first husband 😁.

Picked up this handsome tb today and added a Great Trails Council BSA pin to one of the patches. Mr. H2 is an Eagle and hopefully we will find the perfect cache for this tb to spend some time 😁!
