I am going to Gothenburg, Sweden. Then I want to return home to Washington, DC.
My father passed away this winter. He was a wonderful man who raised a great family while still pursuing his dreams. But one dream he didn't have time to fulfill was to visit the birth homes of his grandfather (Gothenburg, Sweden) and grandmother (Vadsø, Norway).
Gothenburg was especially important to him because he lived there in the years leading up to WW II (grandfather worked for Volvo).
This travel bug is one of eight that want to go to either Sweden or Norway (or both). They are being scattered between Washington, DC, and Wisconsin near places that were important to my dad.
