Bobby's Memorial Race

The goal of this travel bug is to visit caches that rest nearby horse racing tracks across the world. However, wherever it goes; horse racing tracks or not- is greatly appreciated and truly special.

Robert C. Greenwood was born November 6, 1937 in Syracuse, NY.  Robert was an avid horse racing fan, being present at Vernon Downs on opening day in 1954.  He visited Vernon Downs countless times throughout the years as well as Batavia Downs, Buffalo Raceway, Saratoga Race Course and many other horse racing tracks across the country.  Robert was also a dedicated healthcare provider and a lover of cats.

Just wanted to send out another thank you to all of my fellow cachers who have had a hand in moving this along, and all of those who will continue to.  As I said before, this cache moving along as it has means a great deal to myself and my family; it is tremendously appreciated.

I do have a bit if a favor to ask...

I was wondering if any future cachers who come across this TB would be willing to take a picture of it as you continue it on it's journey?  These can be pictures of the TB where you discover/retrieve it, where you end up placing it or anywhere in between. Wherever the picture may be, I would just like for the actual TB to be in the picture. I  just wanted to say I never expected this travel bug to move as far as it has. The fact that this travel bug started in the United States in the state of New York and is now in England is amazing. Through talking with my Father I found out my Uncle (his Brother) had always wanted to visit England, but never got the chance. To all of the people who had a hand in moving this along- I just wanted to say thank you, it means a great deal to my Father as well as the rest of my family. For me, it has truly been a joy to call my Father each time this travel bug moves to let him know where it is and how far it has moved from its previous location- and I know it means a lot to him to get these calls. I'd also like to thank the many others who will continue to move this travel bug along- I cannot emphasis enough how much it's journey means to my family.
