There is a Recordable CD inside.
Add YOUR OWN, SELF MADE pictures, movies, sounds, stories, logbook, art, websites, music (MP3), maps, GPS waypoints, etc. to this CD by using a CD / DVD writer connected to your computer.
Tell something about yourself on this CD.
Put everything (items, folders) you add in a main folder with your Geocaching nickname, so everyone can see wat has been added by who.
Use multiplatform (Macintosh, Windows, Unix, Linux) CD formatting and multiplatform filetypes, such as: HTML, TXT, PDF, DOC, RTF, XLS, JPG, PNG, GIF, WAV, AIFF, MP3, Quicktime, Real, Windows Media, etc.
Be carefull, do NOT add private sensitive data to this CD.
It is NOT the purpose to add software to the CD.
Keep this travel bug free from copyrighted, illegal and malicious software, such as virusses, worms, trojan horses, macro virusses, etc.
So use a proper virus scanner, before adding data to the CD!
When you add data, do it as a WRITE SESSION.
Do NOT finish the CD when adding data to it, because the next finder of this travelbug can't add data anymore when the CD has been finished.
When the CD is finished (by accident) or just full, you should add an extra CD Recordable to this travelbug.
Please do not forget to write the current date and the travel bug number on the new CD.
When the bug has reached the maximum of 12 disks, the oldest should be send to the owner GeoGerard of this travel bug, just email and ask for GeoGerard's postal address.
The travel bug is a bit larger than a CD, so select a cache that can hold this travel bug.
Make sure the cache -you put this travel bug into- is watertight, clean, dry and out of sight and somewhere in the outback (far from populated areas).
Leave the travel bug in a sealed and intact ziplock bag to keep it dry and clean. Keep the CD(s) free from dust, humidity, heat, sunlight and other damage causes.
When a cache is too small, too wet, too dirty or too unsave to hold this travel bug, just leave it in (virtualy) and retrieve it from (virtualy) this cache, so it gets it's extra miles / kilometers.
If your not able to add data to the CD, it is not a problem, just move it to another cache.
Please bring this travel bug to a new cache within two weeks, please do not keep it at home for a long time.
