Hello.
I am Badger 4
I want to go home to GC40XYB in Maastricht, The Netherlands. On my way home I like to go sightseeing and do some Munro bagging in Scotland. Please tell me where you met me and what the area where you found me looks like. Please put one or more pictures in your log. I like to see where I am at. Badger 4 made a bet with the other members of the Badger family that he can arrive in the Maastricht area before X-Mas 2014.
During our holidays it has become a tradition that we buy a little souvenir and send it home as a Badger TB. As such the Badger Family was born in August 2010. You have met with Badger 4.
This is the second trip of Badger 4. His second trip started at GCPGH7 (The road to Applecross) in North West Scotland on June 20th, 2013. Badger 4 was initially released in Scotland during a Scouting camp from 8 to 15 July 2011 at Bonaly outdoor centre near Edinburgh. He made it home to GC40XYB on May 3rd, 2013. That is a record by all means since he is the first Badger TB to reach his home destination.
Badger 4 is (naturally) number 4 in the Badger family. At the moment Badger 4 is released for the second time, the happy Badger family has grown to 10 members. All the Badgers are racing home and try to get there first. Badger 10 is released during our holiday in June 2013 in Lochcarron in Northwest Scotland. Badger 9 started its journey during a short holiday in April 2013 close to Six Four Les Plages in the area of Toulon in the South of France. Badger 8 was released in February 2013 close to Benenden in Kent, England. Badger 7 is released during a holiday in Madeira in the last week of September 2012. Badger 6 was released in North Wales (Snowdonia) during a short holiday from 1 to 15 August 2012 at the Liyn Gwynant campsite. Badger 5 was released close to Alfriston in the summer of 2011. As already mentioned, Badger 4 started his initial trip in Scotland during a Scouting camp from 8 to 15 July 2011 at Bonaly outdoor centre near Edinburgh. Badger 3 is released in Exmoor National park during a short vacation in May and June 2011. Badger 2 was travelling home from Berdorf, Luxemburg, unfortunately Badger 2 is reported missing since he has not been seen since September 2011. Badger 1 is travelling home from Privas, France since August 2010. Badger 1 seems to like it in France and elsewhere in Europe since he’s been around big time and aint showed up yet at home.
