Not only is the first cache in the USA the first cache ever, but it also happens that I am in that area every couple of months. Unless I hear from the owner to do otherwise, I will hold and move around until I get out to Oregon and get its pic with the plaque for the very first cache.

I am actually logging this discover in January of 2011. I saw this in the hands of fellow geocachers in July of 2009, then promptly lost my "logging" notebook. Sorry for the very long delay in logging. Just found the notebook. Thank you for putting this out in the world for us to discover.

OK. The first cache in the US may be found in Beaver Oregon and it is still there today. GCGVOP. I don't think I will be going to Oregon in the near future, but will get this on its way. Hopefully it won't take too long to make its way there.
