Current Goal

This geocoin's original mission statment was

I would like for this coin to visit as many federal and state parks as possible.

I thought it would stay in the US. Instead, it has traveled far more than I expected. (I'm so jealous!)

The New and Improved Mission:

I would like this geocoin to visit as many parks in as many countries as possible. It would be wonderful if it visited every continent.

I would also like to thank everyone who has passed this geocoin on. My students have been following the travels of this geocoin for three years now. We have looked at images from your parks and countries. Thank you for adding some life to my classroom!

About This Item

I received this geocoin because I'm a teacher working with the Discovery Educator Network (DEN). Every year, DEN sponsors a geocaching day for teachers. I host the Dallas-Fort Worth event.

I dropped off this coin at my first CITO in Plano, Texas, in 2011.
