Gerome is tired of the Pacific Northwest weather and would like to go to a more desirable climate. His current goal is to reach Arizona and hang around some of the caches there to see if he would like to make Arizona a permanent home. We have left his leash on, for your safety, because he sometimes gets a little moody and hard to handle especially aftger being left in a cache for extended periods of time.

I hate to break this sad news. It appears that Gerome has found a permanent home somewhere - he managed to break free from his bonds and all I have is the dog tag and the leash. Seems like Gerome has gone free-range. I will continue to pass his tags and leash around in the hopes that they will reuinite soon.
