De oorspronkelijk in de woestijn groeiende jojobastruik wordt geteeld in Argentinië en Peru. De plantage in Argentinië is zo’n 200 hectare groot en volgt de methoden van  biologisch-dynamische teelt. Water is noodzakelijk bij de teelt van jojoba. Er wordt gewerkt met een duurzame irrigatiemethode die voor woestijngebieden is ontwikkeld Weleda is wereldwijd de grootste verbruiker van jojobaolie.

Jojobaolie verzorgt de huid, werkt vochtregulerende en trekt goed in. We verwerken de jojobaolie in vele producten, onder andere in Zwangerschapsolie.
