This travel bug is looking for a story to tell, a magical children’s story, as told by all of the magical geocachers that pick him up and help him along his quest.
When you pick up this bug, read the story within the covers, then add to that story, maybe a paragraph, maybe more. Add enough to develop your idea, but please, try not to go over two pages. Or, if you are artistically talented, add an illustration to the already existing story. And we ask one more favor: please keep Neal and Caitlin as the main characters, but feel free to add or remove any others as needed to make the story fun. Whatever you add, please remember that this is a children’s story, magical in nature, that we hope will magically develop as it travels. Finally, add your paragraph to the Travel Bug’s web page so all who have taken part can watch the story continue to grow as the bug moves along its way.
Thanks for your help, in advance. We can’t wait to read your fascinating additions.

Hi,
I'm not sure exactly where to begin. You see I woke up one morning, having a bad hair day (as you can see in my photo), and couldn't remember a thing. My life was supposed to be an "open book" for all to read, but somehow I had amnesia. Yup, every single page had gone blank on me. Now, I feel so lost. What will I tell my family? What can I say? Oh my, I'm just at a loss for words. Perhaps, you can help me. I'm not one to put words in your mouth, but I wouldn't mind you putting a few in mine. Go ahead, jot down a line or two. Ahhhhhh, words are like candy to me. Ya know, you can't judge a book by its cover, and I really am a sweet guy. At least, I think I was--am. How about it, just a few lines........

ππ LOVE THIS BUG ππ
I saw this amongst the 100's of bugs on the T.B. table at the GeoJamboree4, and knew it had to be a story teller; I had to have it! Not to mention the book itself is way kewl!π
1NatureGirls are very excited to contribute! We will have to read it & continue during one of our backyard campfires this week, perhaps Sunday at our Father's Day BBQ!

This travel bug was taking up a lot of space in a smaller than normal 30 caliber ammo can! I'll move it soon, but I'm not much into story telling. π

"Just-be-careful", called Lexie over her shoulder. Neal and Caitlin watched in amzement as she ran onto the boat and the boat lifted slowly off the river and sailed into the sky, blue sails taut and signal flags fluttering. From over their heads
Lexie shouted "catch!". A package wrapped in soft silver leather landed at their feet.
Caitlin unwrapped the package slowly. It contained an ancient
piece of parchment, battered and stained, and a bright golden penny whistle. As Caitlin examined the parchment Neal put the whistle to his lips. "No Neal" shouted Caitlin, but it was too late. Out from the whistle came a burst of sweet, birdlike song.
