It is time for a Second Grade Race!

JD Second Graders are setting their travel bugs off on October 12, 2012 to travel around the USA!  Which travel bug will travel the farthest, visit the most caches or travel for the longest amount of time?

Update 6-10-15:  These students are now Fifth Graders, but the race is still on!! Thanks for keeping this adventure going for three years!  Their teacher's tag, JDKir-Quackers the Duck, is in 2nd place with 31,938 miles!  Our favorite cache eating Goat is in 1st place with 37,279 miles.  Please keep this juicy "Watermelon" going to a fresh location!  Thanks so much!

Wow! Lots of travel bugs in Bob's Bug Hotel! I grabbed three of them to move on quickly. The rest I'll mark as discovered so I can track the progress of this fun event. I'll also tell the local caching club that they should all come grab a few and help move to the next cache.
