Flotsam and Jetsam (TB4MMZ6) are having a race. Both owners were raised in the southwestern part of the Golden State but now we both live elsewhere. We get together very infrequently, but we were able to join up to geocache together, so we decided to release a pair of TBs to see who can be the first to collect a smiley at all of the following six namesake caches (no particular order needed):
Flotsam & Jetsam - Washington - GC2ATCE
Flotsam & Jetsam - Illinois - GC8EE3
Flotsam & Jetsam - Nova Scotia - GCTD6D
Flotsam & Jetsam - New Jersey - GC3K4JV
Flotsam & Jetsam - Washington - GC11P48
Flotsam & Jetsam - Maine - GC1NMMM
In maritime law, flotsam is wreckage or cargo left floating on the sea after a shipwreck. Jetsam refers to cargo or equipment thrown overboard from a ship in distress and either sunk or washed ashore.
Flotsam is no longer a silver travel slug geocoin attached to a miniature pink hamster ball. Thanks to whoever kept it, Flotsam has now been replaced. Be on the look out for a snazzy blue slug. Jetsam is now not a golden coin with an orange hitchhiker hamster ball, but a fancy pink slug. I mean really, who keeps TBs? Good grief.
Anyway, You can do your part by making sure Flotsam and Jetsam keep in motion. I don't mind if you dip as you go along, and yo don't have to rush to release, as long as you remember: they're racing, so try to keep them on task! Help Flotsam win by being the first to log all six named caches (in any order).
Bon Voyage!

Trackable owners, I am sorry I have been terrible at tracking trackables that I have discovered. I just went through my photos and deleted 15,000 plus photos of trackables, geocaching photos, duplicate pictures etc. So some of these discoveries may have been a number of years ago and I am sorry for that. I am trying to catch up on them so doing it today. thanks
