Current Goal

I am flying in a race from Farnham Common in Southern England to Berlin in Germany.
It would be nice to have photos of the places I have been, so that my flight is not completely in vain in case I do not win.
PLEASE pass me on swiftly with the goal in mind: Berlin

About This Item

Leaving Erik's bee hive

I am leaving Erik's bee hive on 1st November 2012.
My mission is to deliver sweet honey-love from fruit baby to Ikosaeder.
SURPRISE LOUISE !
The person who deposits me in a cache in or near Tegel in Berlin could perhaps send Ikosaeder a message to the effect that a messenger bee from England has arrived for her personal collection.

Ich fliege heute, am 1. November 2012, von Eriks Bienenstock los.
Meine Aufgabe: suesse Honiggruesse an Ikosaeder zu uebermitteln.
UEBERRASCHUNG !!!

Wow, I did 1004 miles in one go! My little wings are still aching and I am exhausted. Did I by any chance fly a little bit too far? I was making for Berlin.

But this is very exciting. I am in one of the oldest caches in Hungary (2001). Here some (pinched) photos for Ikosaeder from the lovely bird sanctuary. Needless to say: I am keeping a very low profile with all these large, eager birds around, because 2 Bee wants to continue to be a bee.

  • In Hungary near Sandorfala Pusztaszeri National Park
  • Pusztaszeri National Park Feherto bird reserve
  • Feherto bird reserve (Hungary) Yap, there are definitely some birds here. Wonder if these hungry Hungarian birds eat bees?

I'm sorry that i have just placed "Erik's bee 2" now and it is a bit far away Budapest but that is a more beautiful area (http://geocaching.hu/caches.geo?id=29)!
Thank you for your patience!

2 Bee to be the winner? That is the question!
Will it suffer the slings and arrows of outragous fortune?
