Steerin' Stella is a crew member of M.S.S. CONCHILLA, "The Ship of the Little Shell".

 

M.S.S. stands for Mariner Scout Ship. We are a Mariner Girl Scout troop troop based in the Southern California desert near Palm Springs. We all learn to canoe, kayak, paddle board, row, and sail. Every year our high school girls camp on the beach for a weekend with other Mariner Girl Scouts at a competition called GAM. We usually place in the top two or three ships even though we live in the desert. We’ve even taken the Golden Clipper (1st place) a couple of times.

 

We also have a 22 foot sloop named the M.S.S. STORMY, and sail with her on a lake when we can.

 

Please help Stella go near bodies of water where she can collect sea shells, play in the water, and go boating. Fair winds, Stella. Happy sailing. We wish you "love, life, prosperity, the sun and the open sea"!  Please come back to see us from time to time.
