The medieval astronomical clock in Prague's main square is called the Orloj. It was installed in 1410 and it is the oldest working example in the world. Considered a form of mechanical astrolabe or primitive planetarium, the clock displays more than 20 different astronomical data and events. The time measured is old Czech. The Prague Astronomical Clock is part of the Astronomical Clocks series.
